About Family Guy Pop Culture References
A few months ago I was talking to someone who mentioned that she liked how they (the writers of Family Guy, or Seth McFarlane) reward you with all sorts of references to history and pop culture. I had watched the show for some time and noticed some of them (Chris Griffin singing Madonna’s “Crazy For You,”, etc.), but never realized just how many pop culture references are actually in each episode. So I began to count.
I can honestly say I have watched one too many episode of Family Guy, but there’s no turning back now.
There are lots of quiz games out there with Family Guy trivia (What is Spooner Street?), but not much just focusing on the references. To me the references are really “the reward.”
If there is something you think is incorrect or another reference you think I missed in the same scene, please leave a comment on the post to let me know. Also, if you have any ideas for future Family Guy Pop Culture Quizzes, please contact me as well. Have fun.
Giggity, giggity goo.
